How Some Slick Brits In Sandhurst Tricked A Small
Town Veterinarian In Texas Out Of His Pet Care Articles
Dear
Readers,
You
are probably wondering how you got to this web page. Please take
a few moments so I can tell why.
I
am well on in years and no longer practice as intensively as I once
did. But my life still revolves around animals and I continue to
write articles on pet care and post them on the web. Owners and
pets have been good to me – so furnishing this information
free of charge on my website is my way of saying thank you. Since
I sell nothing, I do not need to encourage you to purchase worthless
items your pet does not need.
Several
years ago, I received an email from a Mr. Chris Jones of Ashford
Middlesex, asking if his pet club might use some of my articles.
No mention was made by Mr. Jones that this was anything other than
a social Club. In the United States, pet clubs are non-profit organizations
of individuals with particular pet interests that share information
and camaraderie. I thought Mr. Jones was organizing a similar club
in the UK and so I agreed he could disseminate my articles free-of-charge
for his Group of pet-lovers.
It
was not until 2009 that I realized Mr. Jones, and his successor,
a Mr. David Woolven, were not animal lovers but rather businessmen
in Sandhurst who intended to use my articles to sell their merchandise.
The first gentleman had been selling weight loss contraptions
while the second was a car
salesman.
I
have, on several occasions, asked them to remove my articles from
their PetClubUK website. They have refused
They use versions I wrote several years ago that are no
longer valid in their recommendations. They can and have altered
my articles to suit their goals. I suppose they feel I am far far
from you in England and that there is nothing practical I might
do. When people are motivated by financial gain rather than basic
honesty and fairness, that is often the case.
After
one of my clients lost her beloved cat due to these shenanigans,
I decided I must do everything in my power to end this unfortunate
situation.
I
may not be able to
remedy this problem alone. But you can. Before you trust
your purchases to PetClub UK,
CONSIDER
IF YOU WANT TO GIVE YOUR BUSINESS AND SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION
WITH INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN DEVIOUS AND UNDERHANDED ACTIVITIES.
In
Texas, people who practice deception in one area of their lives,
generally do so in other areas as well. I assume folks in the UK
are much the same as people here in Texas

Best
Wishes To You All In the UK And To Your Pets,
